Kundapur: 2 persons meet watery grave

Kundapur, Jne 9, 2015: Two persons have met a watery grave in two separate incidents reported from Anagalli and Kandlur on June 8.

 

 

In the first case which took place at Angalli,  Kanyana resident Prakash Pai (33)  was found dead  in a pond. The body was first noticed by some locals and the identity of the man was ascertained with the  help of   the ID card found in the pockets of the dress worn by the man. It has been gathered that he worked in some firm in Manipal.

Sources said, Prakash who was the son of one Krishnaraya Pai  had reportedly left home  for work on June 7 Monday morning saying he would report to work as he had completed his two day leave. It is said he had left his cell phone at home, but had taken his voter ID card along with him.

In the second incident, Shekhar Devadiga (27)   reportedly drowned while crossing the Kubja  river near Kandlur.

Kundapur Police have registered a case.
