Padubidri, April 23, 2017: "Kumaraswamy is adopting a hit and run culture. His is a family party and he is resorting to dirty politics. We eight MLAs voted for the Congress in the Rajya Sabha elections at his behest, said JD(S) dissident MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan.

Addressing media persons here on Saturday, he said seven JD(S) MLAs would  very soon join the Congress while they would be joined by eight more later. "All of them will get Congress tickets to contest the next Assembly polls from their respective constituencies," said Khan.

Referring to statement  of JD(S) leaders that their party will win 120 seats in the next elections, Zameer  said that it was impossible for the party to win even 60 seats  and  declared that he would tender resignation to his legislatorship if the JD(S) wins more seats.
