Kukke Subrahmanya Temple Committee donates Rs 3 cr to Kodagu flood victims

Sullia, Aug 24, 2018: Kukke Shree Subrahmanya Temple’s Managing Committee has donated Rs 3 crores to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, towards relief for the flood affected people of Kodagu district.

Temple Committee Chairman Nityananda Mundodi handed over the cheque to the manager of Vijaya Bank’s Subrahmanya branch.  The amount would be remitted to the Mujrai Department through  RTGS.

Though the Temple initially planned to donate Rs 2 crores, the amount was raised to Rs 3 crores as per the instructions of the Government to all temples under the Mujrai Department, informed Nityananda Mundodi.
