Koteshwar man booked for flouting home quarantine norms 163 times

Kundapur, July 14, 2020:    A  case has been registered against a man who returned to Koteshwar from Mumbai, for  violating  quarantine rules as many as 163 times.

 

The man who is a businessman was asked to undergo home quarantine till July 13 upon his arrival from Mumbai.  However,  when officials checked his GPS tracker it was found that he had   gone out of the containment area as many as 163 times and had also visited some hotels in Udupi.

A case was booked after Flying Squad Officer N G Bhat lodged a complaint against him.
