Kota double murder Case : Bail rejected to three accused

Kundapur, Feb 20, 2019: The JMFC court, Kundapur rejected the bail of three accused on February 19, 2019.  They are prime accused among 16, allegedly involved in the Kota double murder case.

Ravikiran Murdeshwar, the advocate who had appeared for the accused sought the bail including Veerendra Acharya, Pavan Ameen and Pranav Rao in the additional JMFC Court at Kundapur on February 15. Sumangala Nayak, Public prosecutor objected the bail and reject the application.

After the hearing of both parties, Judge Srikanth rejected the bail application. The Court remanded Pawan Ameen to police custody for three days for further investigation.

The police have arrested another person named Mohammed Thouseef  aged 28 who had helped the accused to escape after the crime. With his arrest the number of accused have become seven.
