Konkan Rly. holds meeting with MPs

Mangaluru, Sep 12, 2018: Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL) on Tuesday conducted a meeting here with Members of Parliament along the Konkan network within the State.

KRCL Managing Director Sanjay Gupta, in his introductory address, said that the meeting was the outcome of Railway Minister Piyush Goyal’s several initiatives to improve railway services and amenities to passengers, said a release here.

Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and Rajya Sabha MP Oscar Fernandes were the two MPs who attended the meeting. Konkan Railway network in the State also passes through Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga (Byndoor) and Uttara Kannada parliamentary constituencies.
