Kishore Yaksha Sambhrama opens Dec 1

Udupi, Dec 1, 2015 : According to a media release, the annual Yakshagana performance of students of 28 high schools in the Udupi Assembly Constituency called Kishore Yaksha Sambhrama will be inaugurated at Rajangana here on December 1.

Murali Kadekar, secretary of Yakshagana Kalaranga, said that the students would give their Yakshagana performances from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily from December 1 to 15.

Inauguration : Vidyavallabha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Kaniyur Mutt will inaugurate the programme Dec 1.

Pramod Madhwaraj, MLA, will preside over the inaugural function.

The Kishore Yaksha Sambhrama is being jointly organised by the Department of Kannada and Culture, Yakshagana Kalaranga and the Sri Krishna Mutt. .
