Mangaluru, June 14,2017 : A letter addressed to the PMO by Kinnigoli’s sixth standard girl Dhruthi Kulal seeking construction of an over bridge at the railway gate at Haleyangady Indiranagar on Konkan Railway route has received immediate response and she has even got a reply from the Railway Department at the behest of the PMO.
Dhruthi Kulal is a student of Shimantur Sharada Model English Medium School. Consequent upon her letter, officers from the Palghat and Belapur office of the Railways spoke to her father over mobile phone and sought necessary details.
They informed that there was a problem in securing land for the project. The girl has now said she would write to the Chief Minister and other departments concerned until the demand is fulfilled.
Once when Dhruthi was travelling to Suratkal from Kinnigoli by bus along with her father, the bus had to be halted for about 20 minutes at the railway gate.
At this point of time Dhruthi noticed a pregnant lady in great pain in an ambulance. Realising that the place needed an over bridge she with the help of her father and others wrote a three page long letter in her own handwriting.
The immediate response from the PMO has pleased Dhruthi.
