Khader opposes ban on Chinese apps

Mangaluru, July 03, 2020:   MLA and former minister U T Khader  has strongly opposed the  Union Government’s recent move to ban as many as 59 Chinese origin apps.

 

Speaking to reporters, Khader said while the ban will not affect China in any way, at the same time it will not  benefit India too. Pointing out that the PM Cares Fund had   received a donation of Rs 30 crore from Tik Tok, he said the government should refund the donation. He also pointed out that many Indians working in  companies of the Chinese apps have also lost their jobs.

On the recent issue of inhuman way of disposing bodies of Covid victims at Ballari, he  expressed resentment over the fact that so far no one has been arrested.
