Khader draws ire by participating in Covid victim’s last rites without PPE kit

Mangaluru, June 24, 2020:   MLA  U T Khader who lent a helping hand in digging the grave for a 70 year old Covid-19 patient who succumbed to the infection on Tuesday,  without wearing a PPE kit has angered many. Several have expressed ire on seeing the photo of Khader  participating in the last rites without wearing a PPE kit.

 

The 70 year old man who had returned from Bengaluru on June 7 was tested positive on June 12. He was suffering from asthma and pneumonia too and had failed to respond to treatment. His last rites were held at the Juma Masjid cemetery at Bolar when the MLA was  also present.
