Kerala woman rescued from house arrest in Mangaluru ?

Mangaluru, May 07 2018: An incident wherein a Kerala origin young woman was placed under house arrest and tortured in Mangaluru for the  fault of being in love with a youth of another community, has come to light of late. Sources have revealed that the  woman  has now been rescued and sent to a rehabilitation home.

It is  said the  woman from Thrissur in Kerala who was under house arrest  had managed to send a video  narrating her ordeal to a senior police officer. She had reportedly stated in the video that she was also admitted to a Kerala hospital by  stating that she was mentally ill.

The  police it is said  have managed to trace the woman and rescue her.
