Kavya’s death case: Post-mortem report recieved by police

Mangaluru, Jul 31, 2017 : On memorandum submitted to Police Commissioner T.R. Suresh  had directed  Assistant Commissioner of Police (North) D.S. Rajendra to conduct the probe following doubts expressed by her parents. The post- motems reports were handed over to investigation team  by the hospital, which shows that Kavya had committed suicide, but not confirmed yet.

 

The investigations are still in progress as  there are various circumstances which has created room for  suspicion by Kavya’s parents.Kavya was found dead under mysterious circumstances  in her hostel room on July 20. A day before the death, she reportedly spoke to them but did not complain anything.


Meanwhile, various student and social organisations    carried out a protest demanding a fair probe.


Investigations are underway.
