Kaup : Elderly man run over by train

 Kaup, Mar 18, 2014:  An elderly person was found  dead  at the railway crossing at Katapady-Chokkadi on March 17, Monday. Police suspect that he might have been  run over by a train.

The deceased person is identified as Pushpanath Shetty (70). It is suspected that Shetty might have been run over by a train while he was returning from a temple on way to his daughter’s house.

Shetty has left behind his wife and daughters. Kaup police are investigating.
