Katipalla bundh today opposing Deepak murder

Mangaluru, Jan 04 2018: Katipalla and  Suratkal areas are observing a bundh on January 4, Thursday following a call given by the Bhajrangdal and Hindu Jagarana Vedike in protest against the murder of Deepak Rao at Katipalla on January 3, Wednesday.

 

As the Hindu activists were adamant in taking the body of Deepak to his home at Katipalla in a procession despite the police denying permission for the same, there are reports that the police have secretly shifted the body to Katipalla  to avoid any tension and considering security aspects. But, even this move of the police has invited the wrath of the BJP and Sangh Parivar activists.
