Kasargod, Apr 22, 2019: Kasargod Lok Sabha constituency is geared up for the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to be held on April 23, Tuesday. A total of 10,11,031 voters including 5,15,942 women voters and 4,95,088 male voters will exercise their franchise in the constituency. The constituency also has 24,859 first time voters.
Manjeshwar Assembly Constituency has the highest number of voters. The constituency has 2,12,086 voters.
A total of 968 polling booths have been set up in the district. The constituency this time will see an interesting triangular fight between CPM’s KP Satish Chandran who is LDF candidate, Congress party’s Raj Mohan Unnithan, who is an UDF candidate and Ravish Tantri Kuntar of BJP who is the NDA candidate.
