Kasargod : Youth drowns in pond while bathing

Kasargod, July 25,2016 : A 21 year old youth  drowned in a pond while having  a bath along with his friends at Manya in Neerchal on  July 24, Sunday.

The deceased is Shiyaz from Eriyal. It is learnt, Shiyaz and his friends who played a football match had been to the pond after the match when the tragedy took place.

 

Though his friends tried to rescue him, it was in vain.

The body was later retrieved by the fire service personnel. Vidyanagar Police have registered a case.
