Kasargod: Worker dies as lift collapses in an under-construction building

Kasargod, Mar 25, 2017 : In a shocking incident, worker dies as  a temporary lift at an under-construction building colllapses and  crashed to the ground  after the cables supporting it snapped . The incident took place at Perla in Kasargod .

 

The deceased is identified as Kanakappa(19)son of Ramesh from Gadag. He was mansion, was residing in a rented house in Badiadka along with his parents from several years.

It is said that Kanakappa was engaged in construction work, he fell as the temporary lift collpased suddenly. He was gravely injured and was rushed to hospital in Mangaluru  but was declared dead.

Case has been registered in Badiadka police staion. The police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident .
