Kasargod: Woman critically injured in scooter mishap succumbs

Kasargod, Jan 31, 2015: A woman who had sustained critical injuries in a road mishap  ten days ago, has succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.

The deceased is Bindu (35), wife of Shashi, a resident of Kotrachi  who is employed  in Kuwait. The mishap had occurred when Bindu who was  pillion riding a scooter  of her friend was returning home from her daughter’s school where she had been tp pay fees. It  is learnt, the rider increased the speed of the vehicle to avert some stray dogs  near the Thottam Junction when Bindu fell off the scooter and sustained head injuries.

She was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru where she breathed her last. The woman has two children.

A case has-been registered by Neeleshwar police.
