Kasargod : Two youth drown while bathing in a pond

Kasargod, Aug 01, 2019: Two youngsters who had stepped into a pond for a bath have drowned  on July 31, Wednesday  at Maanya near Neerchalu.

The deceased are Salih Ali (17), son of  Mohammad Ali of Belkuradka and Abdul Khader (20), son of Shafi  from Alampady.

The two along with other  friends have been   bathing in the pond every day.

However tragedy struck on Wednesday. Though other friends tried to rescue the duo, their efforts went in vain.
