Kasargod: Two arrested on charges of murder

Kasargod, Nov 13, 2017 : Kasargod police on November 13 , Monday have arrested two persons  on charges of murder of Rangappa Gaji (38) from Bagalkot, three months ago at Cherkala.

 

 

Vittala (33) and his brother Akkundappa (30)of Belagavi, daily wage workers are identified as the accused arrested. The incident happened to take palce in a drunken stupor.

Sources said that Rangappa’s body was found in a decomposed manner  in a remote area near national highway on August 06.  During interrogation they reavealed that they had consumed alcohol, an argument broke between the trio that lead to  Ranagppa’s murder. Akkundappa is the prime accused and his brother Vittala who helped him in committing the crime is the second accused.

Investigations are in progress.
