Kasargod: Twelve injured as Two Fishing boats capsize

Kasargod Aug 25, 2016 : The Fishing boats colliding with each other capsize at Alivebagilu, injuring 12 fishermen. The accident occurred on August 25 Thursday in the morning due to heavy winds.

 

Abdul Khader(31), Saibabu(42), Umeshan(35), Ranjith(43), Vijesh(30), Ashokan(36), Lalu(30),   Chandran(40),  Shashi(40),  Sabith(35),  Binu(35) and Balan(49) are the injured fishermen.  The locals fishermen who noticed the boats drowning rescued them. They all are being treated at Hospital in Kasargod.  A total loss of 12 lakhs is estimated so far.

The Coastal police are investigating the case
