Kasargod : Son hacks father to death

Kasargod, June 29, 2019: An elderly man was hacked to death by his very own son with a wooden club at Chittarikkal on June 28, Friday night.

 

The deceased has been identified as Damodar (62) of Pudiyathota. The accused son Anush (25) has been arrested by the police. A domestic dispute is suspected to be the reason behind the murder.

It is learnt that a quarrel  ensued between the father and son at around 10 last night. In a fit of rage  Anush hit his father with the wooden club. The latter who collapsed, died on the spot.

Sources said the father and son used to often quarrel with each other. Further investigations are in progress.
