Kasargod: SDPI activist brutally murdered at Kannur

Kasargod, Oct 13, 2016: Situation turned violent after consecutive political murders in Kannur as SDPI activist was brutally murdered in broad day light at Kannur today October 13 Thursday.

 

Deceased have been identified as Neerchal Farooq (45)

As per the information, a person named Abul Rauf killed Farooq and fled from the spot after assaulting Farooq with lethal weapons.

Seriously injured Farooq was rushed to AKG hospital but could not be saved as he succumbed to injuries.

This is the third murder in the span of one week, starting with CPI (M) activist and then the BJP activist. Now this murder of SDPI activist has shaken the district and further pushed into tensed situation.
