Kasargod : Rahul Gandhi meets kin of slain party workers; assures justice

Kasargod, Mar 15, 2019: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on March 14, Thursday visited the houses of slain Congress workers in the district  and assured justice to the family members of the victims.

Rahul first visited the residence of  Congress worker Kripesh  at Periya and  consoled his family members. He even met the family members of another slain party worker  Sharathlal.

Later, Rahul met the parents and sister of another activist Shuhaib at the Kannur International Airport. Shuhaib who was the Secretary of Mattannur Block Youth Congress was killed in February last year.

The Congress President was accompanied by former Kerala CM Oommen Chandy, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, Kerala Congress President Mullapally Ramachandran and AICC Secretary K C Venugopal.
