Kasargod: One-month-old baby dies after mother throws her into well

Kasargod, Jul 18, 2018 : A woman killed her one-month-old daughter throwing her into a well at Eriyal on July 18, Wednesday evening.

 

The deceased is Shamna daughter of Nasima.

As per the reports  Nasima had thrown Shamna into the well nearby her house in Eriyal. The locals on noticing this immediately lifted the child from the well and rushed to hospital, but was proclaimed dead.

The motive behind the act isn’t clear yet. Case has been registered.
