Kasargod : Law Minister DVS lays foundation for new block of Central University

Kasargod, Sep 05, 2015: Union Minister for Law and Justice DV Sadananda Gowda has said that the Centre would extend all possible assistance for the development of the Central University.

 

 He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for the  new building complex of the university at Periya on September 4, Friday. The new building  will  house eight study centres of the university.

In his address,Gowda also stated that the Union Government was committed to establish a medical college hospital  affiliated to Central University in Kasargod.

Sadananda Gowda also spoke about the plans of the Union Government to  improve the quality of higher education.

Dr G Gopakumar, Vice Chancellor of Kerala Central University presided over the function.

 KP Mohanan, Kerala Agriculture Minister, P Karunakeran, MP, Kunhiraman, MLA of Uduma, Dr KC Bajju, in-charge Registrar of Central University and others were present.
