Kasargod : Gold concealed in car seized ; duo arrested

Kasargod, Jan 22, 2021:     Customs officials have seized nearly four kg of gold  which was illegally transported in a car on January 21, Thursday. The operation followed a tip off and  the arrested have been identified as Jyothiram (23) and Tushar (27) of Belagavi, Shahapur.

 

The car was  on way to Mangaluru from Kannur when it was intercepted at Pallikere  tollgate. Following a search  police found the gold hidden inside the car.
