Kasargod: Fishermen rescue 20 children from drowning in the sea at Kadappura

Kasargod, Dec 05, 2023: As many as 20 children who were  being washed away by  huge waves in the sea at Kadappura in Kasargod on December 4, Monday were rescued by local fishermen in a swift move.

 

The children aged around 12, 13 and 14 had been to the Ayyappa Deepotsava near Kadappura. They had ventured into sea by tying the empty cans  of fishermen. However very soon they were washed away and fishermen who noticed this immediately plunged into the water and rescued them.

Even senior police and fire service officials rushed to the spot on gathering information about the incident.
