Kasargod : Cops seize banned paan products from bus ; duo arrested

Kasargod, May 27, 2020:   Kasargod Police have arrested two persons who were unauthorisedly transporting the banned paan products in a tourist bus, on May 26, Tuesday night. The arrested are Muhammad Riyaz(28)  and Muhammad Naushad (30).

 

The police raided the place following a tip off and seized 7,704 packet paan products from the duo. It is learnt, the accused were  transporting the products to Ernakulam  from Kasargod. Police said the paan products which had intoxicants in them were  purchased at Rs 150 per packet in Karnataka and sold at double rates in Kerala.
