Kasargod : Body of hotelier who jumped into river, found

Kasargod, Nov 25, 2023: The body of a hotelier who had jumped into the river from the Chandragiri bridge, has been traced on Saturday morning.

 

The deceased is Hassainar (46), of Uliyathadka Siribagilu. He had sent a message on the family’s Whatsapp group that he was ending his life on Friday morning. Later he had reportedly arrived by his car near the Chandragiri bridge where he parked his car and jumped into the river.

A person who noticed this had immediately alerted the police. The body was found almost a kilometer away from the place where he had jumped into the river. Financial difficulty is said to be the cause of the suicide. He was running a hotel at Chandragiri Junction.
