Kasargod: Bikes collide head-on; 2 dead, 1 injured

Kasargod, June 29, 2015 : A head-on collision between two bikes at Adka on Bandyodu-Permude road  on June 28, Sunday night resulted in the death of two young riders while another sustained injuries.

The deceased is Jeevan Rodrigues (23) and Joy Machado (22). It is learnt, Jeevan who was the son of Thomas Rodrigues and Joy, who was riding pillion with him, was the son of Jacob and Angeline Machado, residents of Kayyar. The injured identified as Kamalaksha, who was riding in another bike.

The mishap took place when Jeevan and Joel were on way to Kayyar.  Both the bikes have been badly mangled in the mishap near Adka.

Local police have registered a case.
