Kasargod, May 25, 2020: Arrangements are underway in Kerala to conduct SSLC and Higher Secondary Exams from May 26 onwards despite Coronavirus fears. This year 53,344 students are set to appear for the exams. A total of 19,630 students will appear for SSLC exams in 153 centres in the district, while 16,677 students will appear for Plus One exams in 106 centres and 17,037 students for Plus Two exams.
As many as 297 students who are to appear for SSLC exams are presently in different places of Karnataka and of them 33 have said they would appear for the exams on their own. The administration has made bus arrangements for students who have registered in the portal concerned and have passes will be taken to exam centres from Talapady border area. The schools themselves will have to arrange for their stay and food until exams are over.
Students from containment zones will be made to write the exams in separate rooms. The authorities have also taken steps to sanitize the examination centres.
