Kasargod : 6 killed and 2 injured in a ghastly car accident

Kasargod June 14, 2016:  A car accident claims life of 6 persons injuring 2. The accident occurred  as the driver lost control on the vehicle  hitting a tree near Pallikere in Kasargod on June 13, Monday .  

 
The deceased are identified as Sakeena (39), wife of Hameed from Chetukundu, her children Sajeer (18) and Saneer (16), Sakeena’s brother’s wife, Kairunnisa (24), Kairunnisa’s daughter, Fatima (2), and Ramseena (25), wife of Irfan. Two children, Ajmal (4), son of Sakeena, and an eight-month-old child of Irfan are the two injured who were  in the same car. They are being treated at a hospital inKasargod. All of them were the members of Hameed’s  family. They were on the way  to Chetkundu to their relatives house for the iftar party on Ramzan’s occasion.


It is said that the car they were travelling suddenly went out f control and hit a tree near Pallikere. The impact of the accident was such that Kairunnissa died on the spot .The other five who sustained serious injuries died on the way to the Hospital.


The police with help of the fire brigade personnel  rescued the injured from the crushed car . The investigation is going on in Bekal police station.
