Kasargod: 5 nabbed for pledging vehicles after hiring them

Kasargod, July 15, 2014:  Kasargod police have arrested  five persons  on the charges  of  cheating vehicle drivers  after hiring their vehicles and then pledging them  for loans.

 

Those arrested are Riyaz (34) of Neeleshwara in Kasargod, Naushad (34) of Uduma, Abdul Gafur (30) of Kannur, Zakir (36) of Pattambi and Justin (24) of Malappuram.

Interrogations of the five revealed that they had resorted to cheating in Kasargod, Kannur, Malappuram, Palakkad and other places. Meanwhile police are on the lookout for a Tamil Nadu resident who was acting as a broker.
