Kasargod: 31 cartons of smuggled liquor siezed

Kasargod, Sep 23, 2016: A Ritz car used to smuggle liquor was seized by police at Nellikunje in Kasargod on September 23, Friday.

 

31 boxes of liquor bottles, sachets and the vehicle used for transporting the goods were seized.  Sources say that that the smugglers  have abandoned the car along with the goods noticing the police checking the vehicles at Nellikunje. It is suspected that liquor was being smuggled from Karntataka to Kerala.

Investigations are going on in Kasargod police station regarding the case.
