Kasargod: 2 siblings succumb to high fever

Kasargod, July 25, 2019: Two children including eight month old baby girl Shiyaruthul Mun Jahan and four and a half year old Moidin Sinas from Badiadka in Kasargod district, who were suffering from high fever have passed away.  The two were children of Siddique from Kanyappady and were undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru.

If Shiyaruthul died on Tuesday evening, Sinas passed away on Wednesday morning. The Children’s mother Asarunnisa too is suffering  from fever and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mangaluru.

The Health Department officials of Kasargod who have taken this case seriously are trying to ascertain the cause of the death  of the children and  have sent the blood and sputum samples of the parents to a lab in Pune.
