Kasargod : 16 yr boy dies, 4 injured in car-lorry collision

Kasargod, May 18, 2015:  A teenager lost his life while  four others sustained injuries, two of them seriously  in a head-on collision between a car and a lorry on the outskirts of Kasargod town on May 17, Sunday night.

 

 

The deceased has been identified as Farnis Khan (16).  Shahid (15) and Shamim (21) were critically injured in the mishap.

The accident occurred when they were returning  home after visiting the Mangaluru airport.  The  lorry which was heading towards Mangaluru  from Kasargod collided against the car  critically injuring all those in the vehicle. Though they were rushed to a hospital, Farnis was declared brought dead.

The other injured have now been shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru.
