Kasaragod: Three-year-old boy dies after being hit by train while crossing tracks

Kasaragod, June 24, 2018: In a tragic incident, a three-year-old boy was killed after he was hit by a train while he was crossing the railway tracks at Koppalam in Mogral here on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Bilal, son of Mogral native Siddique and Aysha.Bilal was hit by the intercity express that left from Mangalore to Coimbatore on Sunday afternoon.

Bilal and his five-year-old brother Ismael were crossing the railway track to see their grandmother who was waiting on the other side of the track.

Bilal died on the spot. Ismael, who sustained injuries, is undergoing treatment at Mangaluru  Hospital.
