Karnataka Rakshana Vedike to stage protest over sand scarcity on Sep 27th

Mangaluru Sep 24, 2016: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike district president Anil Das informed that, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike will stage protest outside DC office on September 27th over sand scarcity and the resulting skyrocketing of its price intentionally created by misappropriation of sand by the Congress leaders.

Addressing press at Hotel Wood lands today September 24 Saturday he said that scarcity of sand had affected construction activities in the district. But on the other hand loads of sand illegally transported to neighboring state through this laborers and workers face problems.

District in Charge Minister Ramanath Rai need to take preventive measures to resolve sand related problems, he demanded.

Civil Contractor Association president Purushothama Kottary, Vinayak Pai, Vijay Mayya, Sunil Madhusudhan Gowda and others were present.
