Karnataka Bank launches KBL Suraksha Campaign

Mangaluru, Jan 3, 2017: Karnataka Bank has launched a month long campaign of “KBL Suraksha” on 02-01-2017 which will be in force upto 31.01.2017. 

KBL Suraksha is a unique Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme extended by the Bank to its SB account holders, in association with M/s Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. The scheme provides coverage against all types of accidental death.

All the Bank’s SB account customers in the age group of 18 to 70 years can subscribe to this Scheme by paying a nominal annual premium of  `100 for `10 lakh & `50 for `5 lakh coverage. The policy can be renewed upto the age limit of 75 years. Bank’s privileged SB account holders (SB-Money Platinum, SB-Money Ruby, SB-Money Sapphire and KBL-Vanitha) will get this insurance coverage upto a limit of `10 lakh free of cost. The claim procedures are also simplified.

“During the campaign, we not only expect an overwhelming response from our existing SB account holders, but also a significant increase in new SB accounts. Public at large can avail of this unique personal accident insurance cover at a nominal annual premium” said Shri.P.Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank, on the occasion of launching of the campaign.
