Karnataka Bank gets new General Manager

Mangaluru, April 9: Karnataka Bank has promoted one of its Deputy General Managers,   Shri Chandrashekar Rao B, as General Manager.

 

KBL -GM.Shri Chandrashekar Rao B, is a Graduate in commerce, an Associate Chartered Accountant and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB).

He started his career in the Bank in 1995, as a Manager and has rich banking experience spanning two decades in various capacities and at various centres, both at operational and administrative level. He has worked in Bank’s branches at New Delhi, Ludhiana and Bengaluru. Upon his elevation to the cadre of Chief Manager in 2005, Shri Chandrashekar Rao B, headed the Bank’s Bengaluru – Overseas Branch. He was elevated to the position of Assistant General Manager in May 2008 and as Deputy General Manager in March 2012. He has been heading the HO-Credit A [LCFD] Department of the Bank since then.

During his tenure of service in operations, he was nominated as member of chairman/MD’s Club member on seven occasions.

Shri Chandrashekar Rao B, hails from Alangar, Moodabidri. He had his early studies at St. Ignatius Higher Primary School, Kadalakere, St. Thomas Higher Primary School, Alangar and then at Jain High School and Jain Junior College, Moodabidri and graduated from Dhavala College, Moodabidri.
