Mangaluru, June 15, 2016: Mangaluru headquartered Karnataka Bank has bagged CFBP Jamnalal Bajaj Award for Fair Business Practices - Certificate of Merit under the category “Service Enterprises – Large”.

The award was received by Shri Mahabaleshwara M S, Chief General Manager of the Bank and Shri. B. Nagaraja Rao, DGM of the Bank from Shri Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Group, in a glittering function held at Mumbai on 14-06-2016. Shri Shekhar Bajaj, President and Ms. Kalpana Munshi, Vice President & Chairperson Awards Committee, Council for Fair Business Practices [CFBP] were among the dignitaries who were present on the occasion.

This award is constituted by the CFPB under 4 Categories [Manufacturing, Services, Trade & Distribution and Charitable Association] and are judged on 8 vital parameters, viz., [a] Customer Satisfaction [b] Customer Communication [c] Employee Motivation [d] Supply Chain System [e] Regulatory Compliance [f] Environment Protection [g] Corporate Social Responsibility and [h] Compliance with Laws, to recognize Indian Business Organisations who strive to create an environment where business confidence is built through best business practices.
