Karkala cops nab two inter-state vehicle lifters

Karkala, June 15, 2016: Two inter-state vehicle thieves have been arrested by the Karkala  police. A pick-up vehicle worth Rs 4 lakhs which was stolen by them  from Jarigudde  on June 2, has also been seized.

 

Those arrested are Aboobakker from Kotekar and Najeem from Karkala. Earlier, a person named Pervaje Salam Khan had lodged a complaint stating that his new pick-up vehicle which was yet to be registered was stolen .  It has been gathered that the arrested  duo was using this vehicle  after pasting a fake number plate.

Interrogations of the two revealed that they were wanted in other vehicle theft cases too.
