Karkala: Woman killed after jeep falls off the bridge at Mundkur

Karkala, Jan 12, 2019:   A woman killed as bolero jeep lost control and fell into the river at Jarigekatte near Mundkur on January 12, Saturday.

The deceased is identified as Diana (44 )and the other 3 injured members are  Stany (48), Sheldon (19) and Sharon (19)

Reports said that they were ontheir way to attend a marriage function. In order to avoid hitting another vehicle in the opposite direction,driver  steered to  left , lost control and fell off the bridge. Three members were pulled out by the locals but Diana who was wearing the seat belt was unable to get out of the vehicle and died on the spot.

The rural police are investigating the case.
