Karkala: Locals thrash a youth for assaulting a girl

Karkala,Aug 4, 2015: The locals thrash a youth for assaulting a girl and attempt to murder in Karkala. The incident came to light on August 3, Monday.
Satish(19) a resident of Edu village in Karkala is the person accused. It is said that Sathish had been to the studio for a photo.His misbehaved with her and when the girl screamed for help, he strangulated her.
On hearing her scream the shopkeepers of the nearby shops rushed to help and rescued the girl from this incident.
The youth was tied to a pole and was beaten up by the locals. The girl was admitted to a Government Hospital in Karkala for trearment.
A case has been registered in Karkala Police Station.
