Karkala : DCP Laburam’s wife among 2 dead as KSRTC bus rams against police vehicle

Karkala, April 2, 2014 : DCP Laburam’s wife Gayatri was one among the two persons who lost their lives when a KSRTC bus rammed against a police vehicle in which they were travelling near Neerabailur in Karkala taluk on April 2, Wednesday. Six others who were travelling in the car also sustained injuries in the accident.

 

 

The car carrying the DCP’s family was heading towards Udupi  after a visit to the pilgrim town of Dharmasthala. The other deceased person is Manjunath who was the driver of the police jeep.

Sources said the DCP’s wife succumbed to her injuries while being taken to the hospital. The injured passengers are being treated at KMC Hospital, Manipal.

Karkala Police are investigating the case.
