Karkala: Couple, kid killed in ghastly car-bike collision at Belman

Karkala, Oct 1, 2015:  A family of three including a four year old girl lost their lives in a macabre road mishap at Belman on October 1, Thursday.  Their bike collided with a Duster car near the Belman Church killing all the three.

The deceased are Prakash (28), his wife Sumitra (23) and Srushti (4). The three were on way to the Aadhaar centre for enrolment when tragedy struck.

 It is said the car driver tried to overtake the bike  and was on the wrong side resulting in the mishap. He fled  the scene of the accident soon after. It has been gathered that the car was heading towards Mangaluru from Davangere.

The deceased couple who hailed from Gadag worked in a quarry at Paralpade.
