Karkala: Congress protests near Parashurama Theme Park

Karkala, Oct 17, 2023: Udupi District Congress Committee staged a protest near the Parashurama Theme Park at Karkala on October 16, Monday against the local MLA Sunil Kumar. The protestors alleged that a fibre statue was actually installed claiming that it was a bronze statue of Parashuram.

 

Speaking on the occasion, KPCC Spokesperson Sudhir Kumar Murloli said this was a case of corruption and also a case of playing with the sentiments of the people. He said the Karkala MLA who was a minister when the statue was installed has betrayed the people.

Former MLA Vinaykumar Sorake, Youth Congress leader Mithun Rai, Congress leader Muniyalu Uday Shetty, Udupi District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor and others were present.
