Karkala : 20 year old youth arrested for impregnating minor

Karkala, May 05, 2020:   Karkala Police have  arrested a youth  from Belman on the charges of impregnating a minor from Byndoor after  promising to marry her.

 

The arrested person is Vijaya (20). It is learnt the minor girl came into contact with  the accused when she had been to her aunt’s house at Belman a year ago.  He had later taken her to his rented accommodation where he had  developed physical relationship with her.

He  was staying with the girl since the past two months in his rented accommodation and had also tied a thread with Thali around her neck to make her believe that he has married her.

A case was filed following a complaint by the girl’s parents.
