Karanth Hometown Award presented to Dr. B.M. Hegde

Kundapur, Oct 12, 2016: The Dr Shivaram Karanth Hometown Award was conferred on eminent physician Dr. B. M. Hegde  at a  ceremony held at the Kota Karanth Theme Park  on October 11, Tuesday  under the aegis of the Dr Karanth Huttura Prashasti Pratishtana, Dr. Shivaram Karanth Trust, Udupi and Kotatattu Gram Panchayat.

 

Speaking on the occasion,  Dr. Hegde  exhorted the present generation to always uphold the culture and traditions  of the land.

Pramod Hande, President of the local Gram Panchayat presided over the function. Kota Srinivas Poojari, Managing Director of Dr Karanth Trust,  Jyothi Kunder, Taluk  Panchayat Member,   Narendra Kumar Kota, Chief Secretary of Dr Karanth Foundation, Anand C Kunder, President of the Award Foundation  and others were present.
